The total floor space in the hospital is 91922.02 sq.m.square meters with capacity of 500 beds (200-300 extra beds). Preclinical & Para-clinical disciplines are in College building and clinical disciplines are in Hospital building. Gallery I, II & III, IV Tutorial rooms, Dissection Hall, Practical classroom, Laboratories, Museums, Medical Education Unit. Medical Skill Centre, Autopsy Morgue, Seminar’ Rooms, Library (Air conditioned), Computer Lab are In the college building.

Centre for Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound, Medical central mosque, Sonali Bank, Male and Female student’s hostel, Internee hostels, residential building for teachers and staffs, auditorium, Morgue are all in the campus.Just beside the college campus situated Bogra College of Nursing with its bigger campus started its activity since the year 2010.

In addition to MBBS course there is also Postgraduate Diploma course in Anaesthesiology.Gross eligibility for candidature: Bangladeshi national passed HSC examination within immediate two passed session with total GPA 7.0 (SSC+HSC) with Biology in HSC. Written examinations are MCQ type on the basis of HSC syllabus on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and General Knowledge. Answer scripts are examined centrallyby OMR machine and final selection are given by DGHS as per merit and quota.The post-graduate course is approved by The BSMMU Dhaka, Bangladesh.

After Completion of 2 years after Graduation (MBBS), Two years of service for government candidate, Govt. candidate who completed another postgraduate degree al least before2 years, Non-government candidate after 1 year of completing internship, One year training on the respective subject for Diploma degree. Admission Test conducted at least 2 months before commencing the session, MCQ true false completion type on the basic concepts of overall medical science, Answer sheets are examined by OMR machine, Selection is given as per merit and quota (Government 50% Non-Government 50%).

Campus

The academic building, adjacent to the hospital, is a four-story building which houses both administrative and academic sections: administration, students' areas, and office of the Principal. For educational purposes, there are classrooms, galleries, a library, and an audio-visual unit. There are four large galleries for combined classes and six student residences, along with quarters for staff and officers of the college and hospital.

Khulna Medical College is affiliated with University of Rajshahi.

Academics

Prospective students take an admission test conducted by the Ministry of Health. Students selected are then admitted on the basis of their choice. The students receive a MBBS degree from University of Rajshahi after the completion of their fifth year and after passing the final Professional MBBS examination. This college is directly regulated by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council, an affiliate of the Bangladesh Ministry of Health.
